Steps for Installing Step Nosing
- Clean the Edge: Thoroughly clean the step edge to ensure it's dry and free from dirt or oil.
- Roughen the Edges: Use sandpaper to roughen both sides of the step edge where the nosing will be placed.
- Mix Epoxy: Combine Araldite AW106 Standard Epoxy Resin with Hardener HV 953 in equal parts.
- Apply Adhesive: Coat the adhesive on the step edge and the interior of the step nosing.
- Position Nosing: Place the adhesive-coated step nosing in position and press firmly from one end to the other.
- Secure with Screws: For added durability, use ½” black screws to secure the step nosing to the step edge.
These steps ensure a strong and gap-free installation of the step nosing for prolonged use.
