The problem of cracks along the door and window margins is solved by stop beading.
Creates a consistent groove for the horizontal skirting top edges of tiles, granite, or marble.
Stop beading Prevents plaster shrinkage cracks near door.
Provides a straight edge and protects plaster edges from damage

Select Stop Bead Size: Choose according to plaster thickness:
- 12 mm plaster: Use 10 mm stop bead.
- 16 mm plaster: Use 13 mm stop bead.
- Over 20 mm plaster: Use 19 mm stop bead.
Apply Plaster Dabs: Place dabs on the wall at 600 mm intervals.
Fix Stop Bead: Attach the stop bead to the dabs using galvanized nails.
Hold Firmly: Press on the wood finish side while applying pre-plaster coating.
Allow Curing: Let the pre-plaster coating set before proceeding.
Complete Plastering: Finish plastering as usual.
