• Material Specifications:
  • Made from 3 mm thick hot dip galvanized iron.
  • Dimensions: 50 mm wide, 200 mm long, 100 mm high.
  • Bent at 90 degrees with two 6 to 8 mm diameter holes.
  • With 2 holes on the shorter side 

• Reinforcement Mesh:
  • Select Arpitha Brick Reinforcement Mesh in sizes: 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, or 200 mm.
  • Mesh thickness is 0.35 mm and also made of hot dip galvanized iron.

Fixing Arpitha GI Wall Tie

• Method of Fixing:
  1. After 3 courses of brick/block work, mark the hole positions for the wall tie on the column.
  2. Drill holes to fit suitable 6 to 8 mm diameter screws (50 mm long).
  3. Fix the Arpitha GI Wall Tie and the reinforcement mesh to the column using screws.
  4. Spread plaster mesh above the 3rd course of brick/block work.
  5. Apply mortar over the mesh and continue masonry for another 3 courses.
  6. Repeat the process until the brick/block work is complete, following manufacturer specifications from ARPITHA EXPORTS, Bangalore.
