Application And Specification

Where to Use – Exterior and Interior surfaces: Use on new or previously painted wood, plywood, drywall and cured plaster.

Thinner - Add 300ml to 350ml of water to 1 liter of the paint

Tools to Use – May be applied with a quality polyester/nylon brush or paint roller.

Recoat Interval – This paint dries to touch in about 1 hour. It takes longer time in high humidity or cool temperatures. Allow to dry for a minimum of 6-8 hours before recoating.

Coverage – One liter of this primer paint approximately covers 45sq.ft to 75sq.ft per coat on a rough surface, depending upon surface porosity. On smooth and puttied surfaces, this primer paint approximately covers 75sq.ft to 90sq.ft per coat.

Surface Prepration

  • Clean Surfaces: Make sure surfaces are clean and free from dirt, dust, grease, oil, soap, wax, and mildew.
  • Remove Old Paint: Get rid of any peeling or scaling paint and sand the edges smooth to blend with the surrounding area.
  • Dull Glossy Areas: Sand glossy surfaces to make them less shiny for better paint adhesion.
  • Check for Dust: Ensure surfaces are free from sanding dust before painting.
  • Cure New Surfaces: Allow new plaster or masonry to cure completely before applying any base coat.
  • Prepare Concrete: For smooth poured or pre-cast concrete, etch or abrade the surface to help paint stick, and remove any form release agents.
  • Remove Loose Particles: Make sure to eliminate any powder or loose materials before priming.
  • Dry Wood: Ensure wood surfaces are thoroughly dry before painting.
