Best practices for applying concrete oxide?

Concrete oxide, also known as concrete oxide pigment, is a dry powder that adds color to concrete and other cement-based materials.

How to use: Mix concrete oxide into dry concrete mix, usually at a ratio of 1–3% oxide to the total amount of dry cement. The amount of oxide you add determines the shade of the concrete.

Color: The color of the concrete will vary depending on the amount of oxide added, and will be darker when wet and lighter when dry.

Safety: Wear safety glasses and a dust mask when handling concrete oxide. If the product gets in your eyes, wash your eyes with clean water and hold your eyelid open. If you inhale the product, move to fresh air.

Benefits: Concrete oxide is lightfast, odorless, UV stable, alkali and weather resistant, chemically inert, and water insoluble. It can be used on concrete, stucco, plaster, mortar, grout, countertop mix, and in the ceramic industry.

Transform Your Space: Why Every Home Needs Corner Guards for Perfectly Plastered Walls!

Why Every Home Needs Corner Guards for Perfectly Plastered Walls!

A corner guard is used while plastering a wall to protect the sharp edges of the corners from damage, ensuring a clean, smooth finish and preventing chips or cracks that can occur from impacts or wear and tear, particularly in high-traffic areas; essentially, it acts as a reinforcement to the vulnerable corner points of the wall.

Key points about using a corner guard:

Prevents damage: The guard absorbs impacts and prevents chipping, scratching, or tearing of the plaster at the corners, which are prone to damage due to everyday activities like moving furniture or accidental bumps.

Improves aesthetics: By keeping the corners clean and intact, a corner guard enhances the overall appearance of the plastered wall.

Durability: Corner guards are often made from sturdy materials like plastic or metal, which can withstand regular wear and tear.

Suitable for high-traffic areas: In places like hallways, hospitals, or schools where walls experience more frequent impacts, corner guards are particularly important.
